I turn to this forum for some help with the Geneis 8 Female. Everytime I load her, her head becomes distorted. I have to go to Figure and Zero her head to make it look the way it's supposed to look. Now, I tried to uninstall the G8F Head Morphs and then reinstall them. But she still has the same weird looking face when I try again. This began sometime around the introduction of Daz Studio 4.15 or late 4.14. Does anyone here have a clue to what is going on?!?

Animate Menu element not showing up properly
Hello,
I've been having a weird problem with a single menu element in DAZ Studio, namely that in the Animate menu, two elements seem to be smooshed into each other. I've attached a picture to illustrate what I mean. I've tried using different layouts, resetting the workspace, setting the Animate menu to Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, docking the menu, undocking the menu...I'm running out of ideas. Help?

Updating Missing Thumbnail Images for Purchased Content
Hi All,
Every once and a while, I will download content that will show up in my Smart Content Tab, but
the actual thumbnail will not appear. What can I do to have that image appear in the Smart Content Tab?
There is just a gray thumbnail with an exclamation mark and title, but no picture. Please advise.

That *^!#^*!#$ Clear Button!
I've just ruined another animation which took hours because I mistakenly hit the blue dForce Simulation "Clear" button. I just wish it was programmed to default to "Clear Selected" rather than clear everything. There is no undo so hours of work just had to be abandoned. I meant to animate a single dress but it cleared all the dForce cloth in the scene which had taken hours to get just right and freeze. And yes, that's the other evil trick of the clear button - it clears even the cloth that has been frozen!

Miami Beach environment set? is it ever coming back?
A while ago, there was a Miami Beach art deco enviroment in the store for only a few days or maybe a week before it was pulled. I forget who made it, but then I heard the rumor that it was coming back to the store once edits were made to it. Maybe it was a copyright issue or something, I don't know what the deal was. Is it ever coming back?

Migrating Daz Studio out of C:
My C: drive is a solid state drive that's dangerously full, and I want to move Daz elsewhere. Last time I tried that, it refused to cooperate. I use smart content. Roaming still ended up in c:, and roaming is the issue. My library, even though I have only the Gen 8 stuff installed, is huge. How can I move it? Failing that, would compressing it somehow create a massive issue? Can anyone make a suggestion?

How do I reset to the factory defaults?
I learn by trying things out, which is often a bad plan. I have tried several things and just keep getting further into trouble. However, I need to get back to normal. I am using Daz 4.15 on Windows and have hundreds of models and environments. I have done way too many updates and installs to use the standard windows restore function. Help me please.

massively stupid download requirements
so I want to download the latest level of Studio and install it.
1. i'm logged in
2. I already have Central installed on my machine
3. I had a lower level of studio but i've uninstalled it
The webpage couldn't tell I was already logged in, it forced me to 'login' again.
then
i can't just download studio, i have to REDOWNLOAD AND INSTALL central, the same version I already have installed, to get studio?
what?

Rearranging My Runtime
Years ago, it was possible to rearrange your runtime folder so that (for example) all of Victoria's clothing was in one folder, all of Michael's clothes in another. Is that still possible? I'm going nuts trying to find all of the items that go with any given figure.

needing help making a wrist joint more round rather than oval shaped...
Hello everyone. I need help with something. So i am working on making a doll with ball joints. I am having trouble with the wrists, because they are more oval-like, which makes for a giant ball socket when trying to make the ball and socket joint for the wrist. I really need to try to scale the wrist more so it is round rather than oval-shaped. Any suggestions? I've been beating my head against the wall on this one for days now.

Dforce hair problem
Hello- On some (not all) Dforce hair that I'm using, upon application to the figure, presents hair that appears to be blowing all over the place and I've got no idea how to make it look normal. Sometimes there is a zero button and sometimes not, but if there is a zero button, it does not zero. I'm wondering- is Dforce 100% reliant on an Nvidia driver/GPU, or will it work if I have a non-Nvidia GPU?

Object not following Parent
I have an ring object (OBJ type object) parented to a G3's ring finger. But as I pose the character in different scenes, I noticed that the ring always ends up off in mid-air somewhere. And this isn't a one-off problem, it happens a lot with the same object and different characters/scenes.
Anyone know why an OBJ object wouldn't follow its parent?

Moving everything to new pc without downloading everything again on 4.15
Hi.
I bought a new laptop. I freshly installed 4.15. How do I move all my products over without redownloading everything. I copied the cloud folder(daz connect) over then got no thumbnails and products missing( in smart content). Please help.

OctaneRender Tool Kit installed but no options
Hey guys, I have Octane Render ToolKit installed, but none of the Octane elements are available within DAZ. I have set my Workspace to City Limits (I've tried them all and Octane still doesn't show up). I have the latest Nvidia Drivers, I am using a 1070 Ti and a Ryzen 9 3900x. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the OctaneRender Toolkit via both DAZ Central and DAZ Install Manager, neither makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: Nevermind, I think I figured it out, I didn't realize you ALSO needed to download Octane, I thought it was included *smdh*
